Colin Barnes born in Cape Town, is the eldest of 3 siblings. He attended Modderdam High School and obtained his Master Public Admin (MPA) at the University of the Western Cape. He started working at Old Mutual Investments Group and was with them for 30 years.

In 2009 Colin moved into the Public Sector until now. He has contributed to various community projects and outreach programs for many years. He is a passionate sports’ lover, football in particular – local and Europe football leagues. Another love of his is music – Jazz, Old School, Disco and R&B.
