The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) came into effect on 1 July 2021.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 04 of 2013 (“POPIA”), we have a general legal duty to protect the information we process and receive. The information contained in any email and any attachments thereto may be privileged or confidential and are only intended for the exclusive use and attention of the addressed recipient.

CA1st has a duty to and has put measures in place to inform you in writing, using either mail, email, or whatsapp in case your personal information has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorized person.
