Noore Nacerodien, was born in Bo-Kaap, raised in District 6 and has lived for most of his life, in the Athlone area. He attended Harold Cressy High School, in District Six.  He had no option but to immediately earn a living, and his first job was at ICL in the computer field. He then started his 29 year career at the City of Cape Town in the computer department. Noore later moved on to work in the Sport and Recreation department.

He was a Sports Administrator at various levels, with the highest position that he held being in Softball South Africa, where he was the Vice President.  Noore’s involvement in sports administration had humble beginnings in 1971 with the Thornhill United FC.  He was an International Softball Umpire and officiated at three world events.  

He served on the Athlone RDP Forum for the construction of the Turfhall Softball Stadium. Noore is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Project Playground, an NGO based in Langa and Gugulethu – “Project Playground works exclusively with and for the children and youth forced to grow up in the legacy of Apartheid”

He is a member of the United Coalition for Sport and Community Based Organisation. Your candidate for change in Ward 48 & 81.
