Local Government elections are taking place on the first of November. This is an opportunity for Capetonians to take back their dignity and to make wise choices at the ballot box. The Credible Alternative First Movement has evolved from the civil society organization known as SA First Forum, where we stood against corruption, inequality and abuse of power in all levels of government. We have a track record of consistently encouraging ordinary people to raise their voices against injustice by those in authority.
As a civil society movement that stepped into the political arena we offer Capetonians an honest, realistic and credible approach to Municipal Administration. In our Manifesto we present our offerings to the people of Cape Town in order to restore their dignity and provide them with the kind of services that they deserve. We therefore urge the people of Cape Town to have a look at our Manifesto, which launches on Saturday the 2nd of October.
As the Credible Alternative First Movement, we wish to show that one can be in public office to serve communities with no room for corruption, self-enrichment or bias.
Our manifesto and our various policy offerings linked to this indicate to Capetonians what we mean by a “Credible Alternative” and striving to be a ‘Humane, Caring; Can-Do Cape Town”. This can be found on our website www.ca1st.org.za
